Demaco Corporation maintains the highest level of Safety, Health & Environmental compliance in the industry. Our management fully supports the principles and goals of the SH&E department. We believe that the safety and welfare of our employees goes hand-in-hand with the continued success and growth of the company.

Safety, Health & Environment - Program Goals

At Demaco Corporation, the safety of our people and the environment is a top priority. Our SH&E program goals reflect our philosophy and commitment to exhibit the highest level of compliance in the industry. We aim to proactively manage our SH&E program and people, develop and maintain an efficient and effective SH&E team, apply SH&E programs at all Demaco Corporation facilities, and foster a corporate culture that makes SH&E compliance and awareness an integral part of Demaco Corporation.

Safety Performance:

Demaco averages 200,000 man-hours a year and has been able to maintain a very low incident rate. So far this year(2007) Demaco has had a total of 120,000 man-hours and zero man-hours lost. Demaco's safety improves through an active management and employee involvement program. We train all personnel with safety awareness courses and OSHA regulations. Demaco strongly believes that every accident can be prevented and follows a zero tolerance policy. Demaco works with clients that demand the highest safety and health requirements for our employees. Demaco strictly follows OSHA record keeping requirements. Thanks to our successful safety program, Demaco receives safety awards every year from our clients. We also give our employees safety awards and incentives for their leadership in safety.

Competent Person:

Competent Persons are carefully selected by our management to ensure that specific tasks required by OSHA (scaffolding, excavations, electrical, ladders, crane operations, etc.) are present at each worksite to ensure the safety of our employees.
